The Grand Hotel

The Great National Grand Hotel Swansea is located in the heart of Swansea city center, next to the train station, and within walking distance of Swansea's many attractions. The 3-star hotel has been a landmark hotel since the 1930s, and is located just minutes from Liberty Stadium, Swansea University and the beaches of the Gower Peninsula.

The hotel’s rooms feature digital TV, power showers, air conditioning and there is free WiFi available throughout.

The Grand Hotel features a comfortable guest lounge, informal dining in the Bistro Bar and there is also a popular Sports Bar, offering international spirits as well as local beers.

The restaurant is currently closed in the evening. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, however other meals are served in the bar.

Please note that when paying cash a further deposit of GBP 30 per person is payable at time of check-in and photo ID will also be required. In the event a credit card is not valid, a cash deposit and ID is required or they will not be able to process the booking.

Please note that upon arrival, the property requires a £60 pre-authorization on a valid credit/debit card for our King & Queen Suite room types, this will then be released on departure. Unfortunately, the property will not be able to check guests in without a valid pre-authorization on a credit/debit card for these two room types.

Check in for the King & Queen Suite is from 16:00.

Children are not permitted in our King, Queen Suite & Deluxe Double Room with Balconies due to balcony access.

Bookings of 5 rooms or more may have different cancelation/prepayment policy. The property will contact you directly to confirm.

Elevators will be limited to sole travel and only people of the same party can travel in the elevator at one time.

Our Kitchen is closed until 19th January due to refurbishment work and therefore there will be no Breakfast or Dinner rates available until then.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
