Originally built in the early 1900s as a private house, Higher Trapp has been magnificently converted into a country hotel with 29 tastefully decorated bedrooms, 2 function rooms and a locally renowned restaurant.

An ideal base for countryside walks, the hotel is also just 5 minutes from junction 8 of the M65, and a short drive from Manchester’s city center, making it an ideal choice for both business and pleasure.

Please note the hotel has no elevator. All rooms in the main hotel are accessible by stairs only and may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairments.

Rooms will be allocated in either the main hotel or in an annex building which is a short walk from the main hotel.

Please note there will be no restaurant service or hot meals available on Christmas Day and New Years Eve.
