West Side YMCA

Located 164 feet away from Central Park, this hostel is located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, just 5 minutes’ walk from Columbus Circle. WiFi access is provided free of charge to guests.

A desk, a TV and air conditioning are provided in each room at West Side YMCA. Linens and towels are included as well. All rooms have access to a shared bathroom down the hall.

A 24-hour front desk welcomes guests to West Side YMCA. The property features a 65000 square-feet fitness center that comes with a sauna, steam room, weight-lifting and cardiovascular equipment and 2 indoor swimming pools. There are several free weekly group exercise classes for guests as well. These classes are subject to availability.

Lincoln Center is just 984 feet from the hostel, while Carnegie Hall is 2297 feet away. The American Museum of Natural History is 15 minutes’ walk away.

In order to reserve a room at the West Side YMCA, you must be a Member. Included in the price of every reservation is a Residence Program Membership (listed on your confirmation as a "Service Fee"), which we are pleased to offer at a pro-rated amount of $10 per day, per room.

By becoming a Residence Member for the duration of your stay, you will have access to all West Side YMCA members-only amenities, facilities and programs, and must abide by all membership policies as well as the YMCA Code of Conduct.

Benefits of membership include access to:

2. Two pools and three floors of fitness/cardio/weight rooms

Residence Members must remain enrolled in the Residence Program Membership for the duration of their stay with us. Your membership begins on the day you check in and automatically ends on the date you check out.

You will then have the option to convert your membership to a traditional month-to-month membership, or you can resume Residence Program Membership during your next stay with us.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
