At the foot of Mount Snowdon, The Royal Victoria Hotel is cradled between the lakes Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris. Bedrooms have baths, showers, tea and coffee facilities and Freeview TVs.

The Snowdon Mountain Railway is within 328 feet and provides a breathtaking journey up the mountain to the summit. Rock climbing, hiking, and canoeing are all available in the local area.

The Royal Victoria is set in 30 acres of grounds which contain the 13th-century Dolbadarn Castle. Bangor Train Station is 12 miles away and Tyddyn Mawr Golf Course is just 5 miles away.

The hotel is a popular wedding and event venue, particularly at weekends, and due to the nature of these events hotel guests may experience some additional noise.

For group bookings of 5 or more rooms the following policies apply:

The guest will be charged a 20% nonrefundable deposit and full payment will be required 7 days prior to the arrival. The guest will receive an 80% refund if they cancel by 14:00 the day before their arrival.

Please note that meals on the 31 st of December will only be available in the Main Bar until 17:45. The Hotel Restaurant will be closed for a Gala Dinner on this date.
