About the hotel

This characteristic mountain lodge is set in the foothills of the Picos de Europa mountains, in Cantabria’s Camaleño Valley.

The Posada Peñas Arriba is built in a traditional style from stone and wood, and is located in the village of Lon. It is surrounded by the beautiful natural landscape of the Liebana area and the Picos de Europa National Park, whose mountains are visible from many of the 15 guestrooms.

The local area also features forests, clear streams, the River Deva and many charming small mountain villages. It is in these villages that you can also witness some of the region’s traditional architecture, arts and crafts.

One of the most attractive features of this small property is its restaurant, which serves delicious, home-made local dishes.
