The Unicorn, Ambleside

Set within the stunning Lake District mountains, The Unicorn Inn is the oldest traditional pub in Ambleside. We have a bar and restaurant, with 4 rooms with attached bathroom and one 1 small box double room with adjacent bathroom.

All rooms have free Wifi, tea/coffee making facilities, fresh cotton bedding, toiletries and towels. The accommodations is room only and guests have private access to the rooms and road. We have no parking but there is a public parking lot close by.

The Unicorn, serves simple fresh bar food, made on site by our local chef and owners. We pride ourselves on our Sunday roasts and fine ales. Guests will always receive a warm welcome to our cozy traditional English pub.

Please note that the property hosts an open mic night every Thursday from 21:00. Some rooms may be affected by noise.

Please note that meals are served at the bar between 12:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 21:00 from Monday to Sunday.
