Windermere Manor Hotel

Located in the heart of the Lake District and a 10-minute walk from Lake Windermere, this hotel is set in 3 acres of tree-lined gardens and has a charming, wooden-beamed restaurant.

The towns of Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside are all within easy reach. Guests can enjoy water-based activities including water skiing, sailing, swimming or lake cruises.

Parking is available on a first come first served basis and spaces are not guaranteed. Alternative parking is available locally at Rayrigg Meadow Car Park (charges apply).

Windermere Manor is a very dog-friendly hotel. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all guestrooms and public areas at Windermere Manor, except the swimming pool.

Our elevator is currently out of order and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. All accessible rooms are located on the Ground Floor but we understand that this may impact guests in other rooms. Please feel free to contact us to discuss if you believe this will impact your stay.


Any guests requiring dinner must pre-book a table to avoid disappointment.

Dogs are permitted and a charge of £20 per dog per night applies, payable at the hotel.
