Only 8 miles from Manchester with convenient links to the M62, yet set in its own grounds, the hotel provides modern bedrooms, 1 restaurant & bar, in-house Starbucks and free leisure facilities.

Temporary Facilities Maintenance Notice
Please note the following maintenance schedule:
• Monday, 27th October – Sunday, 2nd November:
The Gents’ shower cubicles (6) in the club changing room will be unavailable. Residents are kindly requested to use the showers in their bedrooms during this period.
• Monday, 27th October – Sunday, 9th November:
The Thermal Suites — including the hydro pool, Jacuzzi, snail showers (2), aroma room, steam room, ice room, rock sauna, and bio sauna — will be closed for maintenance.
• From Monday, 10th November (for approximately 2–3 days):
Gym Area Maintenance: The gym will be closed for one or two days to allow for new floor tile carpet installation.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our facilities for your comfort and enjoyment.
Please note: The hotel will not offer any compensation or discounts related to the temporary closure of these facilities.

The rooms at Mercure Manchester Norton Grange Hotel & Spa are spacious and they all have a bath and a shower as well as tea/coffee making facilities.

The amazing leisure facilities include an 18-yard pool, an outdoor hydrotherapy pool, a thermal suite and a technogym. There are also 6 beauty treatment rooms.


1. Parking
For the increased security of our guests, our parking lot is being monitored by Parking Eye, it is still free to park with us, all you have to do is register your vehicle registration with our reception team upon arrival. Please note that parking is at your own risk. The hotel does not take any responsibility for any loss, damage or accidents.

2. Noise Policy
Due to weddings and events we often have loud music until 1am. We cannot guarantee any noise free environment however will do our best to allocate a quiet room if you ask in advance.

3. Pet Policy
Mercure Norton Grange has a strict no pet policy with the exception of guide dogs at no Extra Cost.

4. Child Policy
In alignment with Accor's WATCH (We Act Together for Children) program, we are committed to safeguarding children. As part of this commitment, we reserve will request identification and verify the relationship between the child and the accompanying adult while checking-in to the hotel.

5. Cash & ID Policy
The hotel does not accept cash payments for Rooms. All rooms will have to be prepaid, guaranteed or paid at the property using a valid credit/debit card. However, all other facilities will accept cash payments. The hotel reserves the right to carry out a mandatory ID check where required. Failure to provide a valid government issued ID will result in being refused check-in.

6. Smoking & Drugs Policy
Please note that smoking, including vapes, is strictly prohibited in all areas within the building. We have dedicated smoking areas outside the building. Should you require assistance in locating them, please ask a member of staff. Failure to comply will result in being removed from the premises and a £250 smoking fee will be charged.
The use, possession or distribution of Drugs or any Illegal substance on these premises is strictly prohibited. Anyone caught will be banned and reported to police.

7. Twin Bed Policy
Please note that some of our twin beds are made up with 1 Standard Double Bed and 1 Pull-out Single Bed of 5.9 ft x 3 ft

8. Complimentary use of Leisure Facilities from 3.00PM on the day of Arrival to 12.00PM on the day of Departure.

Minors under 18 must be accompanied by parents or legal representatives. Third person named by parents must present their written authorization (certified signature).

The restaurant is sometimes used for private functions at weekends. This may result in limited dining facilities in the Bistro area. Should you wish to dine at the hotel, please contact the hotel in advance to check the availability and to avoid disappointment.

Please note that the credit card used to book must be presented on arrival. All guests staying must be present at check-in. Guests wishing to pay by cash must provide a valid photo identification at check-in.

Please inform the property if any of the guests are children, so the rooms can be set accordingly.This property is located in a busy area so guests might experience some noise.

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
