Only 164 feet from the Reiterkogel cable car and directly in the center of Hinterglemm, Stammhaus offers traditionally furnished rooms, most of the featuring a balcony with mountain view. Free WiFi is available for guests.
All rooms provide cable TV, a work desk, a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as bathrobes and a hairdryer.
Stammhaus is directly connected to the Hotel Alpine Palace and guests can use all facilities provided there, such as the restaurants with an outdoor dining area, as well as the bar and the wine tavern. In summer, an extensive sports program is offered by the tourist office with certified hiking guides. With hiking tours, mountain biking tours, tennis, canoeing, rafting and canyoning. Guided sunrise hikes are also provided, guests are offered a 3-course evening menu and sometimes a buffet as part of half board.
Guests receive the Sommer JokerCard in summer. This includes unlimited use of the area's cable cars, recreational facilities, the hiking bus, 10 guided hikes a week and reduced admissions to certain amenities
