Berghotel Trübsee - Accessible Only by Cable Car

Surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and located right next to the ski slopes, Berghotel Trübsee offers a truly special experience. The adventure begins with the cable car ride itself: in just 20 minutes from Engelberg you reach the Trübsee middle station, where the hotel awaits at 5.9 feet above sea level. A valid mountain railway ticket is required for the ascent and must be booked separately.

In winter, the fun starts right outside the door with skiing, snow tubing, and a dedicated snow park for children – making it the perfect destination for families and active guests alike. In summer, the surrounding trails and the beautiful Trübsee lake create a paradise for hikers and nature lovers.

Please note that the hotel is only accessible by cable car. Its operating hours are 08:00 to 16:30. The cable car is only accessible with a valid ski pass which must be purchased at the cable car station. The cableway is in operation from 8:30 - 16:30
