Hotel Gundl Alm

Located in Spitzingsee, this Alpine-style hotel offers a sauna with relaxation room, and a traditional restaurant. Guests enjoy excellent views of the surrounding Bavarian Alps and beautiful Spitzingsee Lake.

All comfortably furnished rooms at the Hotel Gundl Alm feature elegant wooden furnishings, a flat-screen TV. There is a balcony in all double rooms.

Visitors are invited to relax with a professional massage or enjoy free use of the the sauna, which is open daily between 17:00 and 20:00 in the winter and on request in summer. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Storage for ski equipment is also available in a heated room in winter, and bicycle storage is provided in winter.

Visitors enjoy a buffet breakfast and a selection of fine Bavarian specialties. The outdoor terrace, elegant restaurant, and country-style parlor with open fireplace all offer beautiful mountain views. The Spitzing Bar is open each year from late-October until early-March.

Gundl Alm is an ideal base for skiing, hiking and cycling. It is surrounded by 16 mi of ski-slopes and just 656 feet from the Taubenstein ski elevator and 2953 feet from the Stümpfling/Sutten ski elevator. In summer, guests can swim in the lake, just 164 feet away.
