Guests must be a member of Hosteling International (HI) or Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk (the German Youth Hostel Association). Membership can be purchased on arrival. Guests residing in Germany pay EUR 7 (under 27 years old) or EUR 27.50 (27 years and older) for membership. International guests without membership pay an extra EUR 3.50 per night for the first 6 nights. Guests aged 27 years or older must pay an additional fee of EUR 5.50 per night.
