The Revolver Edinburgh is located in a B-listed Victorian townhouse only 15-minutes walk from the West End of Princes Street, the perfect base to relax yet within easy reach of all that Edinburgh has to offer.

We offer simple, quality accommodations for guests that want to make the most of their time exploring Scotland’s capital. After a full room refurbishment in 2018, The Revolver Edinburgh offers modern and bright DORMITORY rooms which are comfortable and welcoming. Choose to stay in either one of our small 6 bed dormitory rooms with En-suite or one of our larger dormitories with shared bathrooms, you won’t be disappointed!

Rooms at Revolver Edinburgh are accessible by stairs as there is no elevator at this hotel. The property also features original high ceilings and bay windows.

Busses run every 10 minutes from the hotel to the city center. Edinburgh Haymarket Rail Station is just a 5-minute walk.

Public parking is available at the nearby NCP Car Park, which is 20 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Groups of 8 or more people must pay a damage deposit of £20 per person upon arrival cash only - this will be refunded on check out once no damage or disturbance has been caused as per hostel rules.

The property is currently undergoing a refurbishment.

Children are welcome when adults are booking a private room only. Children under 18 are not permitted in the dormitory rooms. Children trying to stay in the dormitory rooms will be refused entry.

All guests checking into the hostel must have photographic ID with them in the form of passport or driving license. Unfortunately check-in will not be permitted unless photo ID is provided.

There is no elevator access in the hostel and all rooms are accessible by stairs only, over 3 floors.

Small lockers for valuables are available with access from 08:00 until 23:00.

Males who book the female-only dormitory room will not be permitted to stay and a refund will not be issued.

Any guests arriving after 23:00 Sunday to Thursday and after 00:00 Friday and Saturday will be required to pay a GBP 5 late arrival fee to the member of night staff. Please note this is a one-off fee of GBP 5 and not GBP 5 per person." to "Check-in's after 11pm will incur an additional charge of £5 per booking which should be paid directly to the night manager on arrival.

Please note, any stays of more than 2 weeks, or extensions to current reservations, must first be approved by the hostel manager.

Please note that you should allow time for your room to be checked on departure as this can take up to 15 minutes, if you fail to leave time for your room/s to be inspected the security deposits will not be returned.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
