Low Wood Bay

In a most spectacular location on the shores of England’s longest lake, Windermere, Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa is the Lake District’s first resort offering a number of facilities.

Guests have a choice of dining options including, Blue Smoke on the Bay, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, cooked over a 9.8 foot long woodfired grill. Newly refurbished Windermere Restaurant - The W offers a setting serving a range of classic British and continental dishes in a setting overlooking the lake with a warm bright artwork and jazz vibe.

Offering stunning views across Windermere, the Spa and outdoor thermal experience offers a range of treatments and spa days that can be enjoyed for an additional charge. Pre-bookings are essential.

The Winander Club embraces the Club experience offering exclusivity with a sense of personal service, alongside all the amenities of the Resort on your door step. Winander Club rooms and facilities are exclusive to humans, we are sorry, pets are not permitted.

For the adventurous, the Watersports Center offers activities such as wakesurfing, canoeing, paddle-boarding, motor boat hire, sailing and much more. A private jetty for resort guests where a waterbus trip is available to join Windermere Lake Cruises on the lake.

Low Wood Bay provides car parking onsite for all guests charged at £12. The resort is just 1.8 miles from Windermere Railway Station and the town center. Ideally located for the top attractions right in the heart of the World Heritage Lake District National Park.

A deposit of the first night per room is taken at the time of booking.

Parking is available for a fee of GBP 12 per night.
