The Hideaway At Windermere (Adults only)

Just 1804 feet from Windermere Railway Station, in the town center, the Hideaway at Windermere provides modern bed and breakfast accommodations with stylish rooms and great service. This guest house is exclusively for adults and completely nonsmoking.

In the mornings, full English breakfast is available and is cooked to order. Complimentary tea and cakes are also served in the afternoons.

The Hideaway is a 10-minute walk from the village of center of Windermere and a 30-minute stroll from Bowness. Ambleside is just 10 minutes' drive away and Kendal is a 15-minute drive from the property.

Check-in is strictly from 15:00 to 19:00. The Hideaway At Windermere requests that all guests provide an expected arrival time at the time of booking.

Arrivals after 19:00 will be treated as a no-show and will be charged in full, as per cancelation policy.

Please note that The Hideaway has a strict nonsmoking policy. Guests will be asked to vacate the room immediately if evidence of smoking is found, and a minimum charge of GBP 200.00 will be applied to the credit/debit card used to make the reservation, to cover all additional cleaning and dry cleaning costs.

Bookings for 3 rooms or more cannot be accepted.
