The Fox Inn

A 25-minute drive from Dorchester and Blandford Forum, The Fox Inn is a pretty inn in the Dorset countryside. This dog-friendly property has free parking and WiFi, and a full English breakfast is served in the garden room.

Each guest room has private bathrooms with shower, hairdryer and complementary toiletries, and the superior king room also has a bath. All have a TV with DVD player and tea and coffee facilities.

Full English breakfast is served each morning. The traditional restaurant has oak-paneled walls and offers a regularly changing menu using seasonal ingredients. There are indulgent Sunday lunches from the carvery every weekend, and a patio dining area overlooking the inn’s landscaped gardens.

The Fox Inn is around 16 miles from historic Shaftesbury, and 20 miles from Yeovil in neighboring Somerset. The coastal towns of Poole and Weymouth can both be reached by car in around 35 minutes.

This inn welcomes house-trained dogs who are at least 1 year old.

Please note that all rooms are located on the first or second floor, with access only via stairs. This may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
