Each room is stylishly furnished. Guests can relax with cozy beds, bath house toiletries and freshly ground coffee and tea in the rooms, along with fresh milk.

Dine at FYR the AA Rosette-winning restaurant which serves seasonal and local produce throughout the à la carte menus. It serves grilled dishes straight off the bespoke fire grill, afternoon teas and Sunday lunches.

The Health & Fitness facilities, which include a fully-equipped gym, functional studio, swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, can be used for an additional cost. Spa treatments are also available, by appointment only.

Beautiful Ullswater lake’s shores are a 10-minute drive away, while the Rheged Activity Center is less than 5 minutes away by car. Skiddaw mountain is 30 minutes’ drive away, and the vibrant town of Keswick is a 25-minute drive.

In order to avoid disappointment, advance reservations for breakfast and dinner are advised, with both operating on a booking system. Please contact the hotel once you have made your bedroom reservation to book times for these facilities.

If your rate includes Dinner Bed and Breakfast we’ll give you a generous £35.00 food only allowance per adult to spend. This rate also includes a full breakfast. Children in the room are charged at an additional £30 per child, per night, including breakfast. All other children's meals are charged as taken.
