Birchdale House B&B

Boasting picturesque views of the Wicklow Mountains, Birchdale House is nestled in the rural setting of Greenan, 5 minutes’ drive from Rathdrum. It offers free parking, free Wi-Fi, a guest lounge with board games and a 42-inch flat-screen TV with Sky channels.

Each room at Birchdale House has a seating area, a TV, and an en suite or private external bathroom with free toiletries. One of the rooms features a very spacious balcony with outdoor seating area and scenic views. Washing, drying and ironing facilities are available upon request.

Breakfast is served daily in the breakfast room and it includes tea and coffee making facilities.

Birchdale House has a patio area with barbecue facilities, a children’s play area, and a pond with a seating area.

Clara Lara Fun Park is a 5-minute drive away and Dublin Airport is 40 mi from the property. Rathdrum railway station is 3.1 mi away and a free shuttle service to and from the station can be arranged in advance with Birchdale House.

Please note, guests are required to inform the property with an estimated time of arrival prior to check in.

We are dog friendly, however you must book in your dog. Please do not turn up with your pet, without having agreed with us first. We don't have kennels, so we allow dogs to sleep in bedroom. As not all rooms are suitable, we need to agree at the time of the booking. We only accept small to medium well behaved mature dogs. Only two dogs maximum per family/group/room. You must bring your dog's bed. You must keep your dog off our beds/furniture. Please do not use our towels for cleaning your dog. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room/guest living room/kitchen. Dogs must not be left alone in the bedroom.
There is a charge of €10 per dog per night.
