Real Abadia, Congress & Spa Hotel

The ecological Real Abadia Congress & Spa Hotel lies between Serra de Aire e Candeeiros and the city of Alcobaça. This 4-star hotel has rooms for social and corporate events, Spa, Gym, outdoor pools and an extensive garden with playground, animals and spaces for relaxation and contemplation.

All the thematic rooms are inspired by the region and have a large balcony and nice views to the surrouding área. Villas in turn are a new tipology (inaugurated in 2023) specially designed for families and long turn stays. Villas are pet friendly and have a terrace with a relaxing area.

At the Real Abadia Congress & Spa Hotel you can enjoy a varied breakfast and access to the SPA or Gym, as all these services are already included in your stay.

The Spa has a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere and consists of an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Massages are also provided, by appointment.

Guests can explore the hotel’s natural surroundings either by hiking or by cycling on of the hotel’s free bikes. The outdoor swimming pools offer a chance at a refreshing swim and a relaxing break in the sun loungers.

Several classes, such as yoga and wellness, are regularly organized and available for guests.

The themed property is a 7-minute drive from the famous Alcobaça Monastery. The National Wine Museum is just 1.2 mi away and the iconic Batalha Monastery is a 25-minute drive. It is a 15-minute drive from beaches such as S. Martinho Bay and Nazaré. The Fátima Sanctuary is a 42-minute drive from the property, and is a renowned place of pilgrimage.

Guests have free access to the Spa (heated indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath) with extended opening hours until 23:00.

Meal service is available by reservation, which must be made at 11:00 am on the day of the meal. If you want to have dinner on the day of check-in, you must request a reservation before check-in.

The stay in the Villas requires the payment of a deposit at the time of check-in.

Pets are allowed only in the Villas. When traveling with pets, please note that an extra charge of EUR 20 per night applies.
