The Chedi Andermatt

Located in a quiet area in Andermatt amid the beautiful nature of the Swiss Alps, 2789 feet from the Gemsstockbahn cable car station, The Chedi Andermatt combines Swiss hospitality tradition with Asian elegance. It features more than 200 fireplaces, an indoor and outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception, and free Wi-Fi. Free luggage storage is provided, and the lobby is equipped with two fireplaces.

The Chedi Andermatt features a 2,400-square-yard wellness and spa area, consisting of a fitness center, hot tub, steam bath, and sauna. Massages are available on request. The pool area is fitted with padded daybeds.
Asian-inspired spa and wellness rituals include yoga sessions, mindfulness practices, tea ceremonies, and signature treatments.

The rooms and suites are decorated in traditional Alpine style and come with a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a fireplace. They also feature a mini-bar and an iPad.

The Chedi Andermatt offers various dining options, including one with a spacious cheese cellar and another serving Japanese cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served every morning. The on-site bar and lounges offer a wide selection of wines, cocktails, and Swiss specialties.

Designed by renowned architect Jean-Michel Gathy, known for his iconic and immersive luxury hospitality projects worldwide. The architecture and interior design blend Eastern clarity with Swiss Alpine tradition. Materials include a refined interplay of wood, stone, and ambient lighting, enhancing the sense of warmth and sophistication. Over 200 uniquely designed fireplaces further enhance the alpine retreat ambiance.

The hotel provides free ski storage. Guests can rent ski equipment directly on site. In addition, activities such as hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing can be enjoyed in the area. Bicycles and e-bikes can also be rented at The Chedi Andermatt, and an exclusive ski and sports butler service is available.
