The View Restaurant celebrates the very best of our county, from local produce to local landscapes. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows with stylish decor that pays homage to our heritage; The View is a chic yet relaxed space to admire the oh so spectacular scenery of the Dales and our very own lake. Choose to breathe in the fresh Yorkshire air and enjoy the breath-taking views in our brand new all-year-round alfresco dining area or cozy up next to our centerpiece open fire. The Coniston Shooting Ground
One of the best shooting grounds in the country, The Coniston Shooting Ground was awarded Premier Plus Ground status by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association. The breath-taking Canadian lodge is home to an open log fire โ perfect to warm up next to in the winter months. Whether you are a member or visiting for an experience, you will be made very welcome by Peter and his team.

Take a step out of the rigors of day to day life and unwind at the waterside of our stunning 24 acre lake. Whether you are an expert angler and know a Hares-Ear from a Hawthorne or a total beginner, we are ready to cater to all your possible needs. Four Legged Friends
We are a dog friendly hotel and have rooms that are suitable for dogs. Upon booking please contact Reception on 01756 748080 who will allocate you a dog friendly room if required. Please note, there is a supplement charge and dogs must not be left alone in their room under any circumstances.
