The BASE - Aktivhotel Montafon - in Sankt Gallenkirch is a modern, uncomplicated and relaxed hotel, located almost directly at the valley station of the Garfrescha cable car, the cross-country ski track and the cycle path. The ski and local bus stop is only 100 meters from the front door.
Set in the Montafon Valley, guests can benefit from direct access to the slopes. A ski storage room and ski rental facilities are on site. Ski passes are also sold at the guest house.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted at reception for check-in, where you will also find information about the Montafon region, as well as a lounge for reading and waiting. Adjacent to this is the dining area with a bar, restaurant, sun terrace, and open kitchen. A generous breakfast buffet is offered here in the mornings and is included in the price of your stay. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy a full menu in the evening or simply relax with refreshing drinks.
The hotel offers four different room categories – from comfortable rooms with a kitchenette, to stylish rooms with exposed concrete elements and solid wood furniture, to affordable multi-bed rooms with functional furnishings, to family rooms with a loft bed for children. All rooms naturally include a small private shower room, hairdryer, toiletries, cable TV, and are designated non-smoking. All rooms, except for the family rooms on the ground floor, have large, floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony.
There is also a Finnish sauna with an adjoining relaxation room and access to the outdoors. The basement houses the ski room with a heated boot rack and direct access to the slope, providing the first run down to the Garfrescha lift.
Parking is free on the hotel grounds.
