Sustainability measures include a photovoltaic system for electricity generation that produces more electricity than the hotel consumes, a 160-cubic-metre rainwater reservoir to reduce secondary freshwater use for toilet flushing, and two wood-chip heating systems with a heating capacity of 500 kilowatts each.
Guests can explore the hotel’s grounds with a jog around the lake, a walk in the park or by renting a bike.
