Ye Olde George Inn - Badger Pubs

Around 5 miles from Petersfield in the South Downs, Ye Olde George Inn offers stylish rooms alongside a traditional pub and restaurant. In the Hampshire village of East Meon, this atmospheric 15th-century coaching inn enjoys a countryside setting and provides free parking and Wi-Fi.

Each guest room has a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, bottled water and tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have an en suite shower with complimentary toiletries provided and hairdryer on request.

Ye Olde George Inn serves an impressive menu of traditional British and European dishes, many showcasing produce from the region. Decadent desserts, Sunday lunches and a list of world wines are also offered. Room Rate includes a complimentary Continental Breakfast, Cooked Breakfasts are a paid Option.

The pretty village of East Meon has a Norman church with a 12th-century marble font and an impressive 15th-century courthouse. The cathedral city of Winchester is around 30 minutes’ drive, and the West Sussex towns of Midhurst and Chichester are 25-35 minutes from this inn.

We may be able to offer an earlier check-in from 1pm to 3pm. Please note the pub is then closed from 3pm to 5:45pm. Earlier check in time cannot be guaranteed.
