Located at 2,304 metres above sea level in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Wallackhaus RegioJet Hotels is set next to the ski slope Grossglockner/Heiligenblut.

The traditionally furnished rooms offer flat-screen satellite TV and a hairdryer.

The Wallackhaus features a winter garden and restaurant with mountain views. In winter, a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar.

A dry room with a boot dryer and a small workshop are available free of charge for motorcyclists.

In winter, the access road is closed, and the Wallackhaus can only be reached by cable car from Heiligenblut. You can park your car in the garages near the cable car station. Parking is charged. Arrival and departure by cable car are free of charge for guests.

In summer, guests staying 2 nights or more can purchase a multi-day Grossglockner Strasse toll for the entire stay at €43,50 / car or €33,50 / motocycle.

Please note that in winter, the hotel can only be reached by cable car from Heiligenblut. The cable car are open from 9:00 to 16:00. For hotel guests, the cable cars are free of charge on the arrival- and departure day. At the bottom station of the cable car PANORAMABAHN you and your luggages will be picked up by a Skitaxi.

In summer, guests staying 2 nights or more and arriving by car or motorcycle receive a discount on the day ticket for the Großglockner High Alpine Road. Guests receive the toll ticket for EUR 41,50 (cars) or EUR 31,50 (motorcycles). Vouchers for the discounted tickets will be sent to you by email at least 24 hours before arrival. You need to print out the voucher and exchange them at the toll station. Refunds or reimbursements are not possible.
