3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat

3100 Kulmhotel, located in Gornergrat, is the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps and the mountain base camp of a high mountain range. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Gornergrat offers a variety of snow sports including skiing with ski-to-door access, snow boarding and hiking. The hotel also offers a packed lunch service for all guests.

This secluded hotel features its own planetarium, a library and a shopping centre and offers stunning views of 29 four-thousend-metre peaks of the Alps.

The viewing platform of Gornergrat and the areas around the hotel are only reachable by a regular train service, which takes 40 minutes’ through scenic countryside, from car-free Zermatt.

Houd er rekening mee dat Zermatt een autovrij dorp is. Met de auto kunt u slechts tot Täsch rijden, dan dient u daar de trein naar Zermatt te nemen. Het station van de bergspoorlijn van Gornergrat bevindt zich direct naast het treinstation.

Het hotel is uitsluitend per spoor te bereiken. De laatste trein vertrekt om 18:00 uur uit Zermatt (er is een latere trein in het hoogseizoen - controleer de dienstregeling).
