Ensana Grand Margaret Island

Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest, the Ensana Grand Margaret Island offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments.

A heated underground corridor connects the hotel to the neighbouring Ensana Thermal Margaret Island, which features one of Europe's top health spas.

The spa area is free of charge for guests and includes a thermal pool, a recreational pool, a 17 m long swimming pool, a seasonal outdoor pool, various types of saunas and a steam room, which guarantee that you have a pleasant time.
The medical centre offers complex, personalised treatments lasting from a few days to several weeks for people suffering from joint, back, lumbar and neck pain, stress-related conditions and weight problems. The therapies are combined with the beneficial effects of thermal water from Margaret Island and medicinal mud from Hévíz.

Guests can enjoy the a generous breakfast buffet set in the Széchenyi Restaurant, which offers a beautiful panoramic view and evokes the atmosphere of the heyday of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In good weather, the pleasant terrace overlooking the Nagy-rét in Margaret Island is also open for breakfast.
In the autumn/winter season you can enjoy tasty snacks and quality drinks in the authentic club-style Viktória Bar, and in the spring/summer season in the Margaret Pub and its shady terrace.

The classically furnished rooms overlook the Danube or the magnificent park. They are all air-conditioned and have a minibar.

The island stretches over 4 km and is protected leafy botanical parkland with ancient trees, a Japanese garden, and a rose garden, an open-air amphitheatre, traversed by walking and jogging tracks. It is only a 15-minute drive away from the centre of Budapest.

Alle aangegeven prijzen zijn inclusief btw, maar in overeenstemming met de geldende Hongaarse wetgeving worden catering- en horecadiensten vanaf 1 januari 2018 gefactureerd met een ander btw-tarief.

Als je een boekingsbevestiging voor een visumaanvraag nodig hebt, zal het hotel deze naar de desbetreffende ambassade sturen.

Er wordt slechts een beperkt aantal huisdieren toegelaten, en hiervoor geldt een toeslag. Als je van plan bent om huisdieren mee te brengen, neem dan rechtstreeks contact op met het hotel.

Gasten voor de spatherapie worden vriendelijk verzocht hun medisch dossier mee te brengen.

Als je met kinderen reist, dien je vooraf hun leeftijden door te geven aan het hotel. Je kunt dit tijdens het boeken vermelden in het veld Speciale Verzoeken, of je kunt rechtstreeks contact opnemen met de accommodatie. De contactgegevens staan in de boekingsbevestiging.

Voor huisdieren geldt een toeslag van EUR 25 per huisdier, per nacht. Er is maximaal 1 huisdier toegestaan. De accommodatie staat alleen huisdieren met een gewicht van maximaal 30 kg toe.

Overeenkomstig artikel 1.9 van bijlage 5 van het Hongaarse regeringsbesluit nr. 510/2023 (XI. 20.):

Kinderen jonger dan 14 jaar mogen alleen gebruikmaken van de diensten van een openbaar bad onder de verantwoordelijkheid en het toezicht van een ouder of een begeleidende volwassene.

Kinderen jonger dan 14 jaar mogen niet zwemmen in thermale zwembaden, zwembaden met hydrotherapie of zwembaden met een watertemperatuur hoger dan 35 °C.

Kinderen jonger dan 6 jaar mogen niet zwemmen in massagebaden, bubbelbaden en andere faciliteiten die in de huisregels worden genoemd.
