Set in the idyllic Hertfordshire countryside, Champneys Tring health resort has modern rooms in a classic English stately home. Guests are offered free use of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and exercise classes from 17:00 until 10:00 every day.

Opened as a health spa in 1925, rooms are surrounded by history and character but retain modern features. A flat-screen TV, DVD player and a full private bathroom are included in each room.

Many bedrooms also have a private terrace or balcony looking out across the 170 acres of beautiful parkland.

This Rothschild Mansion has a range of exclusive treatments, including Carita facials and Kriotherapy. Guests can also take part in fitness classes and yoga and pilates sessions.

Champneys Tring is just a 20-minute drive from the M25 and M1 motorways, 5 minutes’ car journey from the market town of Tring.

Please note that guests have free access to the leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and Gym, and can book and pay for classes, from 17:00 until 10:00. Use of the facilities outside of these hours will be subject to an extra charge of GBP £70.00 per person, per day. The package quoted is a nightly Bed & Breakfast rate, with an arrival time of 5pm. It does not include access to the resort, spa or facilities before the 5pm arrival time and after the 10am check out. If booking consecutive nights, guests are required to leave the site between these times. Guests are invited to stay on site daily between the hours of 10am and 5pm where a £70 per person per day facility charge is payable at reception on arrival. This charge does include lunch. Please note that additional charges apply for the use of the spa and restaurant facilities. Please note that after check-out, the use of the resort facilities will be subject to an additional charge. Hot breakfasts are available for an additional charge. DRESS CODE: Sportswear is permitted throughout the day. However, at dinner guests are asked to wear smart casual clothing. No work wear of any kind, including work boots, High Vis jackets or hard hats will be permitted in the resort at any point, including on arrival at Reception. Any person not adhering to the Champneys dress code will be politely asked to change or leave resort. Champneys asks all guests to be dressed appropriately for the health spa. This includes smart casual clothing, a robe and flop flops or fitness wear.
