The County Hotel

The County Hotel is a historic, listed building with over 130 years of history. As a result, each of our bedrooms is individual in character, and room sizes, shapes, layouts, and décor may vary throughout the hotel.
The images displayed on our website are genuine photographs of rooms within the County Hotel and are provided as representative examples. Not all rooms are identical, and furnishings, layouts, and views may differ from those shown.
Some bedrooms are accessed via internal steps due to the building’s original design. If you require step-free access or have specific mobility or accessibility requirements, we recommend contacting the hotel prior to booking so that we can advise on the most suitable room options.
Please note that our central city-center location may result in some external noise, particularly during evenings and weekends. For guest comfort, complimentary earplugs are provided in all bedrooms.
We are continuously investing in the hotel, and while many rooms and public areas have already been refreshed, further improvements are ongoing. Our team is always happy to assist during your stay should you have any concerns or wish to discuss alternative room options, subject to availability.

The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's ID and credit card.
