Strandhotel Fontana

The family-run hotel in Timmerdorfer Strand is located a 2-minute walk from the beach. Strandhotel Fontana offers a luxury spa and sauna area, a spacious lobby with fireplace and a restaurant with large terrace overlooking the Bay of Lübeck.

The elegant rooms and suites at the Strandhotel Fontana feature warm colors, custom-made furniture and original oil paintings. Some rooms are in the new extension and offer breathtaking Baltic Sea views.

The restaurant Horizon offers a clear and elegant design. It serves a sumptuous breakfast as well as a range of Nordic cuisine with Asian influences.

Guests are also welcome to relax in the hotel garden with its cascading water features.

Guests are asked to inform Strandhotel Fontana of their expected arrival time at least 2 days in advance.

Please contact hotel directly if extra beds are needed, not all rooms offer space for an extra bed or cot. Guests are welcome to bring their own cot after consultation.

The HORIZONT restaurant is open from November 3, 2025 to December 23, 2025, Thursday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The kitchen is available from 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Please note that the HORIZONT restaurant is closed on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
