The Emsworth

The Emsworth is an independent hotel located a short walk from the stunning harbor village of Emsworth. Only a mile from the sea, The Emsworth, a traditional Victorian villa and The Lodge, just a door away, offer 30 well equipped, bedrooms with attached bathroom.

The exceptional breakfast is delivered by our onsite restaurant, Blooms. Offering a traditional full English as well as other favorites including waffles, pancakes, pastries, fruit and cereals and vegetarian or vegan choices to start your day. Guests are welcome to use our spacious Bar and Reception room but might also like to visit Blooms Restaurant and Tearoom for lunch and dinner, or even enjoy an Afternoon Tea on the ‘Blooms Bus’.

For those keen to balance indulgence with exercise, we offer a complimentary mirrored fitness studio with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. Emsworth Station is half a mile from our door, ideal or easy city-hopping, and there is also ample free designated guest parking on-site.

Emsworth is a vibrant village located in the picturesque Chichester Harbor, offering a range of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. The various coastal Millponds are perfect to explore in an evening and offer hints to the village's historical oyster trade. Emsworth offers access to a wide variety of walking routes including those leading to the South Downs. A short drive to the East is the beautiful walled city of Chichester with its canals leading to the sea and the famous West Wittering beach and sand dunes. To the West you'll find the seaside city of Portsmouth, home to the Historic Dockyard and popular shopping center, Gunwharf Quays.

Guest may be accommodated in either the main building Number 77 Horndean Road or the Lodge Number 73 Horndean Road which are just 66 feet walk away from each other. Both buildings have parking outside however the reception and the breakfast are located in the main building number 77.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
