Guesthouse Hvammur by the Harbour

This central, harbourside property in Höfn is 5 minutes' drive off Route 1 and a 30-minute drive from Vatnajökull National Park. Free private parking is available.

All rooms provide basic accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. All have cable TV and a washbasin.

Breakfast is served from mid-May to mid-September and can be ordered at a surcharge. Staff can help arrange glacier tours, ice climbing and snowmobile trips.

A geothermally heated outdoor pool and hot tubs are 50 metres away from the guest house. Other area activities include fishing, hiking and bird watching.

Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made.
